QA position

We are looking for a junior to mid level QA analyst to join a financial software company in NYC.



Fast learner

1 – 3 years of experience with testing and bug reporting

some knowledge of Unix/Linux


Good communication skills
quick learner and a team player

Financial/ Trading knowledge would be a big plus.

Rule of Three
I ran across this quote in a software testing article at Jonathan Kohl's blog.
Weinberg's "Rule of Three", which goes something like this: if you can't think of three ways a potential solution can fail, you don't completely understand the problem space.
Google found a couple other variations. cut for lengthCollapse ) So, that's three varations on the Rule of Three...appropriate, no?

not a half bad program. It lets you map out how things are going.. kinda like visio actually but with tons of features..
We used it today to chunk up a few modules we are testing to try and plan out our testing better. We shall see how it works out.

SO yesterday I got my first taste of scripting. My co-worker created a script using perl and sami to automate our process.
